Mumbai rail expansion Kalyan-Badlapur 3rd 4th lines project reaches 52 per cent progress completion targeted for 2028, marking a major step towards improving capacity on the busy Central Railway corridor. The ₹1,510 crore MUTP-3A project aims to ease congestion, improve operational flexibility and support smoother suburban and long-distance train movement between Kalyan and Badlapur.
