The Adani Group has unveiled plans to develop a dedicated heliport and vertiport hub at Navi Mumbai, paving the way for helicopter services and future air taxis connecting key parts of Mumbai and Pune with the upcoming Navi Mumbai International Airport (NMIA).

According to the proposal, passengers will be able to travel to and from Navi Mumbai airport using helicopters and air taxis, offering a faster and more efficient alternative to road travel. Jeet Adani, Director (Airports), Adani Group, confirmed that the heliport and vertiport will be a standalone development aimed at strengthening urban and regional air mobility.
