Akasa Air Announces Launch from Navi Mumbai Airport on December 25

Navi Mumbai, India — In a major development for India’s aviation sector, Akasa Air has confirmed it will begin flight operations from the brand-new Navi Mumbai International Airport (NMIA) starting 25 December 2025. www.ndtv.com+2Free Press Journal+2


First Routes & Schedule


  • The airline’s maiden flight will operate on 25 December, connecting Delhi to Navi Mumbai. Free Press Journal+2Travel and Tour World+2

  • From 26 December, regular Delhi–NMI daily flights will start:

    • QP 1831 departs Delhi at 06:30, arriving at NMI at 08:50

    • Return flight QP 1832 leaves NMI at 10:55, arriving in Delhi at 13:15 Travel and Tour World+1

  • Kochi service will begin on 26 December, initially on Fridays and Saturdays, with additional flights from 28 December on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Sundays. Travel and Tour World+1
