Adding momentum to the project, Singapore-based Surbana Jurong Infrastructure has been appointed to prepare the Vision Document, Master Plan and planning framework for Mumbai 3.0. Mumbai 3.0 is strategically positioned within the influence zone of two transformational infrastructure projects — Atal Setu and the Navi Mumbai International Airport (NMIA).
The proposed KSC New Town covers 124 villages across Uran, Panvel and Pen tehsils of Raigad. Its location near major transport, logistics and aviation infrastructure could give the region a strong advantage for future business, employment and investment activity.

For the real estate sector, the project could open a completely new development corridor. As infrastructure improves and urban planning progresses, demand for residential communities, commercial spaces, logistics, hospitality and supporting social infrastructure could increase.
